Driving in New Jersey is the worst!!!!
So, I just have to go on a brief tirade about how ridiculous driving in New Jersey is. We had to go drop off Brad’s car at the Audi dealership because the brake pad sensor light and the check engine light came on last week. (I could go on another tirade about that, but I will stay on point with my current tirade!!!!)
In New Jersey, some brilliant person decided that in order to help traffic flow, they should create jughandles, which basically means that you have to turn right to turn left and you can’t turn around easily if you figure out you are going the wrong way. (It’s hard to explain, and I didn’t really understand it until I had been here for a couple of weeks, but basically you can’t turn left from major roads onto minor roads, so you make a right hand turn and go around a circle kind of like an exit ramp and then you are at a light where you can either turn left to get on the same road you were on going the other direction, or go to straight to be on the road you could have been on if you COULD TURN LEFT!)
So, we are driving west down 70 and the Mercedes dealership where the Audi dealership used to be is on the other side of the road, so we have to do the jug handle only to figure out that the Audi dealership is ½ mile further west down the road. 15 minutes later, we arrive at the Audi dealership, because of course we could only turn right out of the parking lot, and we turned on a road that we thought was a jug handle, but in fact it was not because all of a sudden we were driving around in a neighborhood. We finally get back on the road the way we were going originally and of course we have to do another jug handle because the dealership is on the other side of the road, but the stupid jug handle is too far in advance of the light, so we just turned around in a parking lot. I was so FRUSTRATED!!!!! If it was a normal place we would have been able to turn left out of the first parking lot and then turn left into the dealership, but NO, they have to make it so much more complicated.
And this from the same state where people are actually complaining about the possibility of self-serve gas even if it would lower the price of gas 5 cents. Um, hello, everywhere else (except Oregon) people pump their own gas every day!!!!
GRR!!! Living in New Jersey drives me crazy sometimes.
Ok, end of rant, I just had to get that off my chest.

I was reading this and going to make fun of NJ for being Full-serve only, but I guess you beat me to it.
Sorry NJ sucks. Colorado is awesome. But our post office is weird. Maybe that's some kind of consolation. And we're not like an hour from NYC, Baltimore, DC, etc.

Did you see Monday's episode of The Daily Show? They had a segment about the NJ self serve gas issue, it was hilarious!!
